Description
The Ovni 43s is a superb bluewater cruising yacht, combining rugged aluminium construction with impressive sailing performance and exceptional versatility. Her lifting keel provides access to shallow anchorages while retaining excellent offshore capability, making her equally suited to coastal exploration or extended passages. Spacious accommodation, generous tankage and proven seakeeping qualities complete an outstanding cruising package. A highly capable and distinctive yacht for adventurous sailors seeking the freedom to explore further.
SV Maskali is a proven ocean-going aluminium sloop built by Alubat in France in 1991. She is currently in her third ownership, with a documented history of extended offshore voyaging including a circumnavigation of Australia under her second owner and, under the current owner, a passage from Australia to the United Kingdom via the Southern Indian Ocean, Cape of Good Hope, Brazil, and the Caribbean. A comprehensive refit for world cruising was completed in 2024, with over £30,000 spent on professional rewiring, a revised electronics package, steering rebuild, and new rudder bearings. She is a capable, go-anywhere cruising yacht in excellent all-round condition.
