Classic Yacht Brokerage Comments on this Mevagissey Tosher Lugger Mevagissey Tosher built by Gaffers and Luggers of Mylor, Falmouth and launched in 2014. This is the standard 20’ Mevagissey Tosher hull used by the yard and is usually fitted with a gaff rig, however the commissioning owner of this fine yacht wanted a 2 mast lug rig. The finished boat is a real head turner, able to spread a decent amount of canvas that gives her superb performance. She is however surprisingly easy to handle. The lug rig is incredibly simple and she can be reefed down with ease so short handed/single handed sailing is no issue and the owner regularly goes out sailing on his own. The large open cockpit is nice and deep with high coamings all round for a sense of security when at sea. She has various weather tight lockers for gear and equipment. A very attractive looking boat with an impressive rig, kept up in nice condition. All the wood work is finished with a low maintenance stain keeping winter refit work to a minimum. VAT paid boat complete with all the necessary paper work for RCD conformity to category C.
