The Lagoon 43 Power Catamaran is a very popular choice for a comfortable livaboard cruiser. This example is the sought after 3 cabin owner's version and viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the clever design that combines luxurious accommodation and spacious outside areas with a serious long distance sea going performance. She boasts a huge full width master cabin aft with separate en suite heads and shower compartments and is a magnificent feature of this design. She has many recent equipment upgrades and is well presented and maintained.
Boarding this Lagoon 43 Power Catamaran from the passarelle you step onto a full width teak transom with swim ladder. From here you pass the raised aft deck with a huge sunbathing area that doubles as a storage area for the tender. There is a very comfortable centre cockpit that is protected from the elements from the shelter of the flybridge above. A large outside TV screen is fitted in the cockpit plus steps up to the flybridge where there is the outside helm station, a settee to port and another sunbathing area aft.
Wide sidedecks allow easy access forward to the huge foredeck area where there is a spacious sunken cockpit area with comfortable seating and a fold out teak table. There are large storage lockers along with the powerful replacement anchor windlass and excellent Rocna anchor.
Entering the saloon from the central cockpit there is an immediate feeling of luxury and space that is flooded with natural light from the large windows that give all round panoramic views. “L” shaped seating surrounds the saloon table and the impressive joinery gives a luxurious ambience and it's obvious this is a well cared for boat. The inside helm position is located to starboard along with numerous up to the minute monitoring screens. A very practical and well thought galley is located a few steps down to starboard with large fridge, freezer, microwave etc and a huge amount of stowage as is found throughout the boat. Going forward is a walk thru (with main electrical control panel) into a very comfortable en-suite double guest cabin.
The port hull has a further en-suite double guest cabin forward. The powerful and recently serviced Yanmar engines are located under the floors centrally and the generator is located to starboard within a machinery space accessed from the aft cabin. She has a very practical layout which allows for a huge amount of practical stowage throughout as you would expect for a yacht designed for livaboard cruising in comfort.
The truly magnificent owners cabin is accessed from the aft end of the port hull or from on deck to the starboard side of the cockpit. There is a huge raised central berth, a dressing table to port, a Bose Lifestyle home cinema 5.1 system and again excellent stowage areas. There are wraparound windows and opening portlights plus a separate heads compartment and shower cubicle located at the outer sides of this extremely spacious cabin. This is a truly amazing cabin that needs to be seen to appreciate fully!
This Lagoon 43 Power Catamaran presents nicely both inside and out and it's clear she is a well maintained and updated example. She is a serious sea boat and her diesel and water tank capacities give her a long cruising range. She's an extremely comfortable, spacious and practical cruiser or holiday boat with versatile accommodation and an aire of luxury making her an attractive proposition all round!
