This Bavaria 39 makes an excellent livaboard and is very well equipped with a cockpit arch housing solar panels. This example has the deep lead keel and combined with the fully battened conventional mainsail this gives an exceptional sailing performance and these are powerful cruisers. Lines are led aft to the security of the cockpit. There is good navigation equipment plus very sensible modifications and upgrades from her current owner improving operation of systems etc.
Below decks the spacious saloon offers ‘U’ shaped seating around the saloon table to starboard with a longitudinal galley opposite to port. The Bavaria 39 Cruiser has the lighter wood finish and deck head windows give a very light and airy ambience below decks. The aft end of the saloon has a full size chart table and navigation area to starboard with a very good sized heads / shower compartment to port. There are two double aft cabins with good stowage that are accessed either side of the companionway steps. The well maintained and spotlessly clean engine (the more powerful option on this example) is located under the steps and has good all-round access for maintenance. The forepeak area house`s the master double cabin with an en-suite heads / shower compartment. There is excellent stowage throughout the yacht.
